The Vel'Phone^® service predicts and detects calving through a vaginal thermometer that continuously monitors the temperature of the animal. It emits an alarm when the water bag is expelled. The calving prediction is based on the elevation and the sudden drop of the cows vaginal temperature a few hours prior to calving thus enabling you to intervene in the event of complications. The Customer is alerted 48 hours prior to calving allowing you, the customer, peace of mind. With more than 99% of detected calvings, it is the most reliable and accurate tool on the market.
